A vintage filigree setting features a 1.02 carat European cut diamond. It is what is called “cape” in color, named for the warm-hued diamonds often found in the Cape Peninsula of Southern Africa during the 19th century typical of the diamonds from that area, this is very clean internally; we grade it VVS1. The ring is of 14K white gold.
