Vintage diamond and sapphire ring

This ring is set with three European cut diamonds across the center, with an estimated total weight of 1.65 carats, and two smaller European cuts with an estimated total weight of .24 carats.  They are surrounded by sapphires for a nice contrast.  This was very likely a ring in which someone had a new setting designed for family diamonds they had inherited; it combines old and new.  Platinum, size 6.
