We had this recycled diamond recut to match ideal proportions to bring out its true brilliance. It weighs 3.21 carats; it is what is referred to as a “Cape” color, meaning it has a slight yellow tinge as did many of the diamonds found in the Cape Peninsula at the end of the 19th century. We grade it M in color and SI1 in clarity. It is set in a simple platinum solitaire for a classic look.
